7-11 Day Is Back, Free Slurpees For Everyone!

Its getting closer....yes its free Slurpee Day from 7am to 11pm. Although it being Emirates Stakes Day (family day) i know that wont stop the lads at SlurpeeGuide meeting up after family day to start at the city's 7-11's and moving into the suburbs guided by the 7-11 map that we will produce. Feel free to join us on the day to get as many free Slurpees as we can in our suits!

As i walked in after rowing i was very excited, knowing that this 7/11 would produce the goods. i bet your asking what thoes goods are ...? welll 5/6 slurpee flavours were working perfectly (the non-working one being raspberry) i was pretty happy with this 7/11 and just thought id let you know. oh and by the way, there's a new flavor on the block and that's LEMON LIME VANILLA i do rate this very highly,alongside cream soda.

Alright so i have been to most 7-elevens around melbourne and i have seen some good and some bad. Richmond would probably have to be my favorite local 7/11 as i live close and it has pretty much all the fundamentals you need...(except nutella). The workers are super nice and its a great atmosphere to be in. But now to the important topic, the slurpees. It doesn't take much to impress me these days as it is pretty hard to find the perfect slurpee, but i had the biggest shock on Monday afternoon when i entered the 7/11. I was dreading a slurpee because i was extreamly "parched" and it was the perfect drink to quench my thirst. Just as i was about to get my cup, i was distracted by a large sign that read "OUT OF ORDER." Is it that hard to keep a machine that stirs frozen goodness in order?

I left the store dehydrated and walked home empty handed.

Corner Orrong and High street 7/11

If you live in melbourne you would know that today was a scorcher. So naturally i wanted a smooth, frozen slurpee to cool me down. So i headed on down to this sev eleve to see how the slurpees where doing. First of all the taurine flavours just weren't very strong, and the cola and raspberry flavours were chunky and not smooth, still had a strong flavour, but was hard to suck up through the straw. After a while it smoothed out a bit. it was alright but definitly nowhere near the best i have had.
